A Leadership Program Taught by Skilled Trainers and Peer Mentors
The Project Glimmer Empowerment Academy, Powered by Coro, is a six-week leadership course (on Zoom) facilitated by skilled trainers and peer mentors. Academy sessions focus on goal-setting, presentation skills, financial literacy, and self-reflection, delivered virtually to participants nationwide.
After six interactive sessions over Zoom, accepted high school students who identify as girls or non-binary will graduate with enhanced leadership skills, increased confidence, and the ability to set and achieve personal and financial SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals)! Plus, graduates will receive a $500 stipend and learn how to plan for their futures financially.
As Academy alumni, graduates will join an expanded network of Project Glimmer peers and mentors.
Summer 2024 Applications
The application for the Project Glimmer Empowerment Academy powered by Coro is currently open to current and incoming high school 10th, 11th, or 12th graders. This virtual academy will be held over Zoom, please click below to apply before the deadline.
This program will run for 6-weeks with 6 sessions total (via Zoom):
