Kellie Abreu is the Deputy Chief Banking Officer and Regional Managing Director of First Republic Bank’s San Francisco based offices. She joined First Republic in May of 2001 and has developed a substantial bi-coastal client base of individuals and businesses, which she actively manages in addition to her duties as Deputy CBO.
Prior to joining First Republic Bank, Ms. Abreu was the Manager of Sales for the Western Region of Freddie Mac where she was responsible for all lending client relationships in the eleven western states. Previously, she was the Chief Operations Officer for IndyMac in addition to several senior management positions.
In addition to her roles at First Republic Bank, Kellie is a Board Member of the School of American Ballet in New York City and is a Co-Chair of its Advisory Council. She is Chairperson of the Bay Area Tumor Institute in Oakland, CA and is an Honorary Board Member of Meals on Wheels, San Francisco. She is a David Rockefeller Fellow and a member of The Battery Club in San Francisco. In 2015, Ms. Abreu was listed as one of the most influential women in Bay Area business by the San Francisco Business Times.
Ms. Abreu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Steve, daughter, Madeleine (11) and their Maltese, Belle.
