Rachel Shamash is the Co-Founder of Bluebelle Concierge, a lifestyle management company that provides high-touch project management, relocation, and personal assistance services to busy individuals, families, and small companies across the Bay Area. Her company’s 1% giving back campaign gives Rachel the opportunity to partner with local organizations (like Project Glimmer!) making positive strides in the community and join them in their efforts to change the world.
Rachel is a Peninsula native and honors graduate of UC San Diego with a BA in International Studies—Political Science and Communication. She is passionate about making a difference everyday, and has started and managed various philanthropic endeavors in San Francisco. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Project Glimmer Young Professionals Board and Co-Chair of the San Francisco Community Federation’s Impact Grant Initiative (IGI), an effort that brings together young adults around philanthropy, and previously co-created One Percent SF, a giving circle for young professionals associated with the One Percent Foundation.
Prior to starting Bluebelle, Rachel gained a strong understanding of nonprofits and philanthropy through her work at TCC Group, a social impact management consulting firm, and at the Border Philanthropy Partnership, a bi-national membership organization aiming to improve quality of life in the U.S. Mexico border region. In her free time, Rachel enjoys going to Baker Beach with her dog Finn, writing short stories, and discovering new gems in San Francisco!
