Megan W. Davis

Megan is Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration for Stanford University in the department of Land, Buildings and Real Estate (LBRE). LBRE has over 500 employees and $600 million in annual expenditures, and is responsible for the stewardship of Stanford’s 8,180 acres, university construction, building and grounds maintenance, utility systems, and parking & transportation programs. Additionally, LBRE manages Stanford’s extensive commercial real estate assets.

In addition to serving on several Stanford management committees and being a member of Stanford’s union negotiating team, Megan is currently a leader in Stanford’s Voice & Influence Circle pilot program, which was created to leverage peer mentoring, networking, and community building to enhance the individual experiences of Stanford’s female staff.

Prior to joining Stanford 15 years ago, Megan had her own financial services consulting firm, was a Vice President and Treasurer of Grubb and Ellis, and a financial manager at Bechtel Investments. She started her career at Arthur Andersen. Megan is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelors of Science in accounting and management information systems.

As a nine-generation Californian with roots back to the 1700s, Megan is very interested in her family genealogy. She is an avid traveler, exercise enthusiast, and Stanford football fan. Megan resides in Redwood City, and has a 21-year old son.

Megan serves as both the Director of Finance and a Board Member for Project Glimmer.
